Delivery

Didn't find what you were looking for?

Due to the vast selection of natural stones, we are unable to upload images of all variants on our website. If you have found a specific stone that you cannot find in our range, simply send us a picture or description. We can likely fulfill 9 out of 10 requests and find exactly what you're looking for!

Delivery & Installation

Delivery of Custom-Made Products

All products from NAÏF are custom-made and produced to order. The typical delivery time is 5–6 weeks from the date payment is received. However, as each item is unique, the delivery time may occasionally be longer, and delays do not entitle the customer to compensation.

You can choose to pick up your furniture for free at our warehouse in Ishøj, or have it delivered curbside to your address. If you need assistance carrying the item inside, we also offer in-home delivery as an additional service. Delivery pricing – with or without in-home assistance – is agreed upon separately with NAÏF.

Each product is shipped in a custom-designed, closed wooden crate, tailored to the contents and typically similar in appearance to the crate shown below. For ease, we recommend opening the crate with a jigsaw. If a jigsaw isn’t available, a crowbar can also be used.

Assembly of Tables

All furniture, except dining tables, is typically delivered fully assembled unless otherwise agreed.

Dining tables usually consist of 2–3 separate parts – the tabletop and the table legs – to prevent the product from being too heavy or unwieldy to handle in one piece.

If in-home delivery is selected, we recommend carrying in the legs first and placing them, then lifting the tabletop into place. The underside of the tabletop will be clearly marked to show where to position the legs. For stone tops, the weight alone is often enough to ensure stability. However, for extra security, you may apply a small amount of construction adhesive – about the size of a coin – to the edge of each leg. This ensures the legs stay in place while still allowing for disassembly by cutting the adhesive seam later, should you need to move the table.

Delivery Time

Delivery times are arranged directly with NAÏF. As a general rule, we offer delivery most days of the week, and on Zealand, we can also deliver on weekends. Weekday deliveries typically occur between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Delivery & Installation of Countertops

At NAÏF, we offer both delivery and professional installation of custom countertops. You may choose to receive curbside delivery and install it yourself, or add professional installation by our skilled technicians – which we highly recommend, as it means we assume full responsibility for the installation.

Before Measurement

Before we can measure for your countertop, the following must be ready:

  1. Cabinets must be installed, leveled, and properly aligned.

  2. Cutouts for sink and hob must be made, and any reinforcements (e.g. metal rails) installed.

  3. Choice of sink, hob, and installation type (e.g. flush-mount, undermount) must be confirmed.

  4. No changes may be made after measurement (e.g. moving walls or structures).

If we arrive and cannot take measurements, a call-out fee will be charged.

After Measurement

You will receive a technical drawing for approval. It is your responsibility to confirm that materials, sink and hob placement, and any necessary cutouts (e.g. faucet holes) match your order.

Installation & Delivery Time

Expect around 25 working days from measurement to delivery and installation, depending on the project’s complexity. Custom stone sinks may extend the delivery time by up to 5 additional days.

We use the following installation methods:

  • Epoxy (for permanent joints): The countertop is glued and sanded after curing for a seamless finish. Do not use the surface until epoxy has cured.

  • Silicone (standard): Flexible joints used where appropriate.

Important: The surface below must be solid and stable – uneven or moving floors can damage joints.

Note: The customer is responsible for covering floors and other surfaces. NAÏF is not liable for damage that could have been avoided with proper protection.

Not Ready for Installation?

It is your responsibility to ensure we can begin work on the agreed date. If this is not possible, extra chargesmay apply for waiting or wasted time.

After Installation

We recommend scheduling your plumber and electrician for the day after installation, so your sink and hob can be properly connected and sealing completed.
